What is with the name? The name De Novo has a double meaning for us. The primary reason is that De Novo is the Latin term to “Start from the Beginning” or to “Start Anew.” How true for our very first coffee. Secondly, both Eric and Clay have backgrounds in banking, and the term De Novo is used to describe a brand new startup bank.
